Myself, my husband and my two young boys had a lovely stay in Milatos, and the 2 bedroomed apartment we stayed in was excellent. Milatos itself is lovely, and the people are very friendly. There is an excellent bar right by the apartments, and if you turn right as you come out of the bar there are a few really lovely restaurants right on the sea front serving excellent food. We would however suggest a car as Milatos is very quiet and only has a very small beach right by the apartment, and there are some lovely beaches around so a car is vital in order to be able to see these. We travelled into Sissi a couple of times which is only a 10 minute drive away, and there are numerous restaurants and shops etc here. We would also recommend a trip to Water City, again you need a car to get here, which our children thought was fantastic, and there are plenty of rides for older children. Crete is a very beautiful island, and we would definitely consider taking a holiday here again in the future. Lisa, Stuart, Luke and Jordan Tavener from the UK
